Actually, it does not require any “formal” education. Having it be studied in an online distance learning, or maybe on-the-job training is only one of the ways to have a certification to attest that you are qualified to be a medical transcriptionist. To be a medical transcriptionist, one should be skillful enough id editing and also well-oriented with medical terminologies. Aside from that, he or she should also work using listening skills and typing simultaneously. It is slightly difficult because it requires more skills, however, there is a future waiting for medical transcriptionist. It is one of the good compensated jobs nowadays.
